Jim helped in every way. He helped get the house ready to sell, with the marketing, and finalizing the sale.

He is professional and very knowledgeable. He knows the market and helps to make sure the sale is professionally done.

July 2020: As first time homebuyers, we greatly appreciated working with Jim. His extensive knowledge helped us pick out a perfect first home. He was always on time and very easy to get ahold of. The respect other realtors have for him helped us in getting our house. He was always very thorough, whether at a viewing or filling out paperwork. We appreciated his honesty, as it comes from experience that we don’t have. Working with Jim was more than we could ask for, especially as first time homebuyers.

August 2020: No pressure, always willing to help both the seller and the buyers, lots of knowledge in all aspects of buying and selling, many contacts to help get things done , repairs, and prepping for sales , used Jim several times in buying and selling properties, look forward to having him assist me in the future.

December 2022: Jim is really on of the best agents a person could ask for. He is so knowledgeable and has been such a huge help with a process that I was extremely inexperienced in. I am a first year teacher who was unsure if it was even possible to be purchasing at house at this stage in my life, but Jim was able to look at houses in the vicinity of the school I am currently working at and found one that matched with me perfectly. His skills as an agent are what helped speed up the process so much that I was able to get moved in within the first week of December. Jim and Dawn are an amazing team.

December 2022: It was a wonderful experience working with Jim. He was very knowledgeable about the area where we looked -Sparks. He made the whole stressful situation of buying a house, easy and peaceful. He was able to explain the inspection report in term I could understand.

August 2022: Jim Forbus helped me purchase my first home 15 years ago. He just helped me sell that home last month. Jim is a spectacular realtor who has been in the business here in Reno almost 20 years. In that time he has built an incredible team of local experts. From the house inspector to the lady at the title company and everyone in between, each one of them treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy. Refreshing in the times we live in. The house needed repairs to be able to be sold. I didn’t have any money and Jim was able to assist me with the repairs, found the contractors to complete the work and even helped me move when no one else would. He took the time to explain the contracts and how the laws apply to me. His efforts gave me such peace of mind. Jim is a man of resounding integrity, resourcefulness, knowledge and compassion. March 2022: This is the fourth time we have used Jim and Dawn at Mission Realty. There is a reason for that. They are FANTASTIC! They personally bought fixtures and lighting for us and spent a day helping us install them. It saved us a ton of money and made things look great. It made it so affordable. In the most recent case we moved prior to the house being put on the market. Jim and Dawn took care of everything. They handled showings, septic, inspections and all the other jobs and things that needed to be done. They stay in constant contact. It was seamless and stress free. They make the paperwork process very easy and understandable. They make themselves available for all your buying or selling needs. We recommend them to everyone that needs a realtor.
